I'd really like plastic molding in the v shape in both doors. I think they call it bumper trim. For my app, it would be functional and improve the look (imo).
    Anything like that out there?

Do you mean body side molding to help against door dings?

i think autozone sells that in chrome or black. You find that if you enter your questions in Google prior to asking tacomaworld you will find your answer. Usually Google pulls links to the site. Much better than creating a new thread cause there's already discussions on everything here.

    Welcome to the site!

Not the stuff you can buy in rolls at your local auto store. We're going to challenge my vocabulary here, so I'm trying to find a pic. After googling, it looks like this truck may have trim where I'm talking about. Go a foot up from the bottom of the doors, there is a v shaped channel that runs from the front of the front door, to the rear of the rear door. My wife's car has a paint matched trim piece (pieces front and rear door), for both doors.

Thanks. Maybe we can keep this thread growing. I'd like some for the crease, but may not be tangible

What are you going to use it for?

I bought my truck used and I couldn't figure out why some parts of the truck had little tiny dents in them that almost looked like gills or rock skipping along the body behind my rear door but high up, like above the base of the window. I think it's door dings.
Either the prior owner was an asshole that parked in full-size trucks or owned one and didn't have half a brain when parking them next to each other. I have 6 separate dents. 4 up high and 2 down low from likely a much smaller car.

My super white is too white. Needs more black. :)
That, and when a car has then, they take the beating and the rest of the door gers saved. My wife has a honda pilot. These pieces on her car are beat up, the rest of the door looks good

I have to find the owner of this truck.

Edit: it may be an illusion that the lighting is giving for these body side moldings.
