    So.....this is a lot of debate...no surprise....debates are fun.

Um, sliders will prevent most door dings, common sense says that a vehicle that sits higher than your truck will likely swing the door over your slider, or rear doors because of the wheel wells.

Since most people drive cars, crossovers and unibodies in general, you will reduce the risk of door dings but not eliminate it.

Contact your local offroad shop and have some sliders made

My sliders are semi-custom. The slider itself is premade, but the length of the legs and the angle is custom welded. Mine stick out like running boards and have a slight 10' or so angle to them. Zero door dings and they've saved my ass multiple times from trees and rocks when wheeling. Worth every penny (only 280 shipped).

Found a 2016 GMC sierra. Taco is still higher.

He's obviously cherry picking to support his argument, I've just been ignoring them, not to mention who takes the time to take a random picture of someone elses vehicle next to theirs.

It's deceiving. Tacos have high ground clearance. The cab is taller on a full size, but taco is higher off the ground.

You didnt win anything bud, just proved your continued ignorance. I can go out and take select pictures too to prove my point. Sliders will not prevent 100% of door dings. There are plenty of pics already in here of odd shaped car, SUV and crossover doors that will still f**k up your shit.
