I'm not calling you ignorant in means of you're stupid. Just trying to say you're to focused on one little thing that won't matter.

It will shatter if you try. It's called "Safety Glass" made to break apart into small pieces that can cut but not sever limbs and major arteries. It's been in automobiles for oh, the last 30 years or so. Tell you what, get a glass cutter and try it on your truck. I used to install door glass in a Chrysler plant in St. Louis. If you even flex it too much it just explodes in your hands and rains down a thousand small rounded shards. Ask me how I know...

    Anyone wanna call me ignorant?

That's a laminated windshield he's cutting. Even then it takes a special procedure to do it. The glass in the side windows our Tacomas is not laminated. You cannot cut it.

Yes, I have bent "auto glass" to open doors. None have shattered one me. I also use to work for a glass company. Any glass can be cut, if done the right way it will not shatter. So you might just be ignorant

Like I said. Try it on yours and post the video. A guy posts on here looking for information and you have nothing better to do than deride him for it? Sounds ignorant to me...

But go ahead and have your kind of fun. :frusty:

Lmao, if you read the first few post. You would have seen I tried to help. But op was more focused on the door handle. So bang you head all you wont. It won't hurt me lol

Plus I know from experience, no need to try to prove you wrong, since you know what you're talking about lol

    His question:

I know that here in the US, GM trucks suffered from thieves easily gaining access this way but I honestly don't know if it's an issue for us and if they are even available. Regardless, if anyone of you are familiar with a product like this for 2nd gen Tacoma's I'd be interested to hear from you about where to get them.

    Your responses:

Tell me where in there you were the least bit helpful in fulfilling his request. Seems to me you were more focused on imparting a superior wisdom derived from your impressive width and breadth of knowledge of all things except what he was asking. BTW the head banger is not me.
