So I went to open my 02 Taco's driverside door and the plastic handle piece broke off in one spot. So, the door still works but I have to really work to get it open. I see the the handle piece can be purchased for $7. Does anybody know how easy it is to install one and replace the broken piece? The lock etc is working perfectly. Just the handle lever is broken :(

Pull the door panel off, remove 2 bolts out of old handle, disconnect the rods, reinstall in reverse order.

I had to replace the door lock cylinders in both doors, took maybe an hr for both doors.

What Dubaree said, doing a search on YouTube yielded all kinds of how to's. I suggest you watch as many as you can stand since not any one answered all doubts I had. At the end of the day it's a very simple process, just don't force things and you'll be fine. I can now pull mine in less than 5 minutes.
