Door jamb antenna mount. HELP!

So I decided to move my cb antenna to the left rear corner of the bed using a firestik door jamb mount by the tailgate. For those of you who've done the same, how did you get the damn screws into the metal?!? I got one in. Drilled small pilot holes first. I can't get the second one in there. Also, does anyone have pics of their mounts/install? Thanks in advance!
