Door Latch Issue

2008 4dr pre-runner......Can't open passenger side rear door from the inside.
comparing, the drivers side the latch has more resistance when i open it, the passenger side less resistance and does not work. opens fine from the outside. i hear sliding motion sound when i put my ear by the door latch on the edge of the door. tells me the issue is at the latch. thought i would check the forum before i open it up and go poking around in there.
anyone ever had this issue?

 

OK i found it, a little slide lever on the edge of the door below the locking mechanism, never knew it was there..............Duh!!!
