Door lock beeper super quiet

Has anybody ever had their door lock beeper randomly stop working?. I thought mine died, and after testing connection with a test light, i figured the wiring was fine, so i bought a new one beeper. Put new one in, and still nothing. Then realized it actually was making sound but very very quiet. Checked radio settings for it, and it's set to max and still very quiet. Anyone ever experience this?

I had an issue with this recently and ended up replacing the battery at 6 months old. I have the entune 3.0 system and when looking for this setting recently, found that it was very ambiguously worded in console settings. Make sure you changed the correct setting; if I remember correctly mine maxed out at 7, although I do not remember what the setting was called.

I definitely changed it from the default to max. And nothing seems to have changed for volume

 

You wouldn't happen to have any water leaks/damage under the kick panel next to your left foot, would you?

 

All I can say/add is: if you ever figure out what the issue is: Patent it and retire as a billion-air in Tahiti, then pull the connector. I hate this *&^%$#+ beep on my truck. My "fix" was to disconnect it at the source.
