Door lock beeper

can you turn off the door lock beeper on a 2015 tacoma

 

Yes, I did. I removed the noisemaker altogether. It is in the engine bay, near battery if I recall, small black thing, shaped like a USPS blue mailbox, maybe 2" big. there is a thread here somewhere. One of the best mods I have done If you cant find it, make it beep with your head in the engine bay, you will find it

There is a ignition key sequence that supposedly also does it, I couldnt get mine to work that way
