Finally found a pinout of that pesky connector, not sure why they can't show it on the connector diagram for the Body ECU/interior fuse block but I'm pretty sure it's the one I labeled which would be on the back side of the interior fuse block.

He is showing the same one, the one he has circled in red is the one containing the power out pin from the fuse box to the door control reciever.

Yes You are right, two different plugs, had to pull body ecu out , this is all on the reverse side of the fuse box driver’s side under steering wheel. But the power out pin is t red according to this plug on my truck, I have blue/white wire, unfortunately I have no wires to correspond to the 6 & 7 pin on connector B5. Have you heard of any damage to unit, by installing the missing wires? I do have a red wire on the 1L plug just not in the correct pin. This red (not sure if it is power) is in pin 11 if im reading it correctly, im looking at the plug from the rear side, we’re the wires are going into the plug itself.
@Dm93 Let me know if you have any feedback . image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgwell now I know we don’t have to tear the dash apart, looking for the pigtail.

I don't see a problem adding the pins if you can source them and they are wired correctly, you would be first one I know of to do so so I couldn't give any feedback on if it will work or not.

I count only 11 slots on the connector you are holding.(it might be 1J) it should have 12 for the 1L.

The plug the I pulled was the one you circled in red , I’m pretty sure I’m wrong about the number/letter , now that I see the 1L on the right side of the illustration, it just looked like a (1l) so I thought it was lower case L ! Lol
but the plug I pulled circled in red does have 11 pins in the first row and 11 in second row, the illustration says 11 too. But there is a 12pin plug in the center(1H) of the fuse box that has the colors of the keyless entry module minus the yellow. Or the 1M plug that has 12 pins in all. @caribe makaira so you think I am pulling the wrong plug?

Ok as I stair at the diagram more and more I see how the illustration reads out, so the plug you have circled in red is 1i is that correct? Is this the plug that is supposed to have 12 or is it ecu body ground? That does have 12 pins in top row (3 big pins,6 smaller pins,3 big pins)

Sorry, had a brain fart. It usually affects the sight. 1I is the correct connector (with 11 across). But to be clear, the wire you are looking for can be substituted with an add-a-fuse to any constant fuse (not ignition related) like the door lock circuit itself. The important part is wiring the missing wires to B5 which allow function and programming.

@caribe makaira ok so let me run this by you, if I run the
1)red wire from the keyless Entry module to a fused wire ( most likely door lock)
    2) green & blue wire from KEM to body ecu to there corresponding numbers on body ecu
    3) white/black from KEM to ground or body ground if there is a difference?

Fused wire needs to be always "hot", as in always on. Like the door lock circuit fuse.
Chassis ground. On the passenger side there's a connector with empty slots that you could crimp the proper terminal and insert, having proper ground.

Ok @Dm93 & @caribe makaira o will take some detailed pics and descriptions to add to the end of this thread , I’m pretty sure I have what I need to finish, I have a buddy that’s going to clip the pigtail off a wrecked Toyota that will plug straight into the module! btw @caribe makaira do you have the hot wire for the door locks in the schematics you sent, or could you highlight it for me, or even just give me the location, I’m actually getting this pin location down, thanks to you guys!

Just use an add-a-fuse to the door lock fuse.

@808takoama I am looking to tackle this same project. Were you able to get the door lock module connected and working?

Yes! Works great! I was actually going to do a full step by step, but life happened, and never got around to doing it! But willing to help out in anyway, if you have any questions!
