Door lock issue

    2000 Toyota Tacoma TRD
    I just started having a problem with my driver side door lock. Whenever I lock it, no matter with key or lock button, there is a loud obnoxious ~ 1 second rattle. It does not happen when I unlock nor if I manually push the lock down. I'm not sure what is causing this... the actuator?

    Sounds like the plastic connector is loose or broken and rattlin when used. Better dig into it and replace before it does not unlock and ya gotta crawl out the passenger side.
