Door Locks-Are the doors supposed to lock automatically when truck is put in gear.

    Yes, it’s a setting. Along with keyless entry opening all doors or just passenger. Play around with it. Some cool / useful things to change.

    Edit: also how long interior lights stay on, headlights stay on or off etc.

    I'm glad to see that some of these features can be controlled by the owner. I strongly dislike the power locks on GM vehicles. You can not open the door while in gear with out first manually unlocking the door. Instead of just opening the door with handle and simultaneously unlocking the door. Sometimes you have to open the door while in motion. I don't know if it's a luxury car thing, or if it's just BMW. Those things brake if you open the door while in reverse. Again, sometimes you have to open the door to see. Like when backing into a parking space.

    some cars (ex wifes honda crv) told you how to change it in the manual. something about on-off-on and then lock the doors so many times. i did it once and she yelled at me so i changed it back.
