Has anyone else experienced their truck doors locking on their own? It has happened to me several times as like this A.M. Got the key fob unlocked the truck took the keys back in the house and laid them down went back outside and heard that beep noise and the doors locked. I guess the garage door opener may have the same frequency, but I wouldn't think it would cause the door to lock.

That's what they do if you never open the door. Just doing what they're supposed to do. Nothing wrong. Even says so in your owners manual.

If you unlock the doors with your remote, and do not open the doors within 30 seconds, the doors relock.

On the same topic - does anyone know if the doors lock if the vehicle is on and sitting in park? I'm really nervous about leaving my truck running with the windows up and the door closed (like when I check my mail box). Does anyone know if they lock on their own or will they stay unlocked?

No they don't lock. I get out of the truck and leave it running all the time. At first I was hesitant but it doesn't have the auto lock feature when you start the truck or put it in gear so I felt okay about it.

No big deal-I just don't unlock it unless I'm ready to get in it.

It won't lock with the remote if the key is in the ignition.
