Door panel color

Does anybody else's door panels have a bluish tint to them? In direct sunlight, this is what mine look like:

I think everyone's is like that, do they get scratched as easily as mine!?

They all scratch easily. It's that damn texture and material Toyota is using. It's not scuff friendly for a truck!

 

I mean, even the gauge cluster is made of the devil's plastic.

OP, mine is the same way. I just wipe it down with Aerospace 303 protectant and it makes the panels black again. Mine even has white stress marks from the factory install. More unsightly than bluish hue IMO, but I don't care enough to have them replace it. Those dealer monkeys will end up damaging something else in the process of pulling the panel off. Not worth the time at the moment.

No kidding, I haven't pulled the door off to bother looking at what's causing it. Came off the dealer floor less visible and over 11 months, this is what's visible. There's been no impact or some overweight passenger putting pressure on the panel to stress it like that. It's not warped, but the day I take it in for some inevitable recall, I'll point it out to see what they'll do for warranty.

It's a toyota; cheap materials. If you want a badass 4wheeler with a great interior you'll be paying 225k for one.

Nobody is asking for Baby Seal Skin door panel covers but for fucks sake we'd like something that's a shade or two better than Grandma's Plastic Couch Covers for $35 to $40 grand....

 

Truth hurts, its why I have a double cab.
