hey everyone, posted in another sub forum and didn't receive any responses.

I don't have auto locking doors to my knowledge. 4x4 base TRD AC. My doors have been acting funny. The most noticeable problem is one side (to my knowledge only driver side) relocks it's self after I've unlocked it wth the key and pull the door handle. Before the door has a chance to open it relocks it's self. It's probably the actuator or something stupid, anyone have any ideas or tips for diagnosis? I work at a dealership and am surrounded by junk yards so parts shouldn't be a problem. I'd take it to the master mechanic but we're pretty busy right now so I'd rather just figure it out myself.

    Thanks!

Mine does that as well, but it relocks it's self immediately after opening the door, to the point I can't open the door without turning the key again and ninja like reflexes

I had a fob but lost it, and the door does it every time I attempt to open it and has been for a while. Thought about calling the Ghost Busters, figured this would be a cheaper and easier first step.

    No aftermarket alarm.

my truck only does what your saying when it's in "drive mode". i unlock my truck, get in, turn it on, hang out letting it warm up, put it in 1st gear, and it locks automatically. i don't even have to let the clutch go and start going. but, until I turn off the engine, any time i try and unlock with the button, it locks again a second later.

perhaps it has something to do with your neutral safety switch?
