How well do the gen3 doors seal out water at the bottom? I'm going on a ride this weekend on a tail that crosses a river dozens of times. This time of year the water is deeper. I've been through in my jeep when water has been above the 35" tires.

Three is a good chance the water will be at least up above the bottom door sill. Curious if the seal will hold out water long enough to get across the crossings.

    Anyone know?

Not a leaker and no breather mod. Its got a valve on it. Been in water axle deep a few times with no issues.

I can’t say on the door seals, but if water gets to the door handles it will come in through those I know.

It's not about the door seals. It's about the 12,000 other holes going into the cab.

The hole I would be worried about is the main electrical gromet located in the engine bay that lead into the cab to the fuse box. If you have added any accessories (poked extra holes for new wiring), it may be an issue.

Standing still, that may be an issue. But as long as he fords correctly, it won’t be a problem.

Although, after water crossings like that, I would personally change out all diff fluids. Breather valves have been known to still suck some water in.

If water is that high I'd be concerned with water in the intake...

I've been in water up to the sills as well. Just keep moving forward and you should be fine.
