What we are talking about is rubber that you buy today in stores, or from parts manufacturers. All rubber seals and gaskets are synthetically made. While some may use a small amount of naturally occurring rubber, the parts are not made 100% of pure rubber.

So, here is what worked for me.

My Driver Side door has squeeked at the top since I bought it (used). Today, I noticed the bottom Rubber Door stop was missing. Probably never had one. It looks like a "Rolo" Chocolate Candy, just a bit smaller. You have two rubber door stops on each front door (in my 08 access cab, anyhow.) One in the middle and one at the bottom. I was missing the bottom, which was effectively creating a pivot point due to still having the middle one. I took a rubber door stop from the passenger side and put it in the driver side and BAM! No more squeek...On the driver side.. haha. Now my Passenger side has the squeek! I immediately noticed that my door shut MUCH quieter on the driver side, and much more "Solid". Before, when I shut it, the bottom would vibrate a bit. Anyhow, So I went to Lowes, and found some 1" cylindrical rubber Bumpers that were around the same width as these( they were in the specialty drawers near all the nuts and bolts). .40 cents each. About 5 minutes with an exacto knife, I cut it down to fit the hole. I made this rubber bumper about a MM longer just for good measure. lubed it up and popped it into the Passenger side, now no more squeeks at all!

It is amazing what a little rubber door bumper can do. All this time, I tried the tape trick, I tried WD-40, I tried Silicone greese, wax, etc. even putting the geese inside the weatherstripping using those little holes. Nothing worked for more than a week or two.

So, Maybe some of you can fix the squeek like this. Good luck!

Mine makes a rattle/clicking sound, not so much a squeak. Lithium grease sprayed under the seal and on top fixes the sound for a couple days - made even shorter when I go out on gravel. Might try the rubber bumper idea ^

Drivers side was squeaking. I sprayed both sides real well with silicone spray and squeak is gone.

"Dielectric grease" is recommended for seals.

If you are going to grease them then use Vasoline.

Dielectric is not? I will just stick with silicone spray. I also use it on my pool seals and works well.

There are different types of dielectric grease? I didn't know that. I've been meaning to pick some up for awhile now. Figured I'd just go get some at the hardware store. It's recommended in the owners manuals of some vehicles to use dielectric grease on door seals. So, that's where I got the idea. I also saw it recommended on the autogeek forum one time.

I think dielectric grease is just a silicone based lubricant. I suppose the carriers would be the major difference between the "grease" and a silicone spray.

From wiki... the silicone oil is typically PDMS and the thickener is...
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silicone_grease

Interesting to note, I think PDMS is also an often used ingredient in modern paint sealants (like Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax and others).

Dielectric grease has the ability to condition seals without causing the amount of expansion that you would otherwise get with petroleum based products.

    Why no pics ?
I had my door seals replaced and that fixed the howling sound at freeway speeds but I've still got the squeaky sound in the corner of the window.
I've tried NAPA Sil Glyde on the door seals, I'm sure it would work if I could manage to get it in the right spot.
Could someone that has actually had success eliminating the squeak post a pic of the exact location to lube ?

Same here. New seals fixed the cross-wind kazoo but I still have the corner squeak.

Someone said it's the inside of the window seal.
I already lubed everywhere else and couldn't get rid of it so I gave it a try and it worked like a charm so far, it's definitely the most significant result so far.
I pulled the moulding out a little more than what the pic shows, lubed the corner and about 6-7 inches away from the corner on the top and the side.
