Door Stops worn out?

    Hey TW'ers, since I bought by truck, my door stop positions are not there. So when I open either door on an incline, it'll come right back down and close; no stop points. I'm not really concerned as it hasn't given me any issues, but if the fix is easy, why not. But also, I'm confused as to how this would even happen. Did the guy who owned it before me open and close the doors a hundred times a day or what?

    It's possible for those to wear out, that's for sure.

    Take a trip to your dealer and purchase new assemblies.
    I believe the door needs to come apart, but that's not hard.

    Cool, thanks. It's just kind of weird I've never actually heard of those wearing out haha. Any idea how much those run?

    Last time I called the junk yards around town about 3 weeks ago none of them had any 1st gen Tacomas. Ill check again though, that is a good idea.
