I went through the Kirby sales training many years ago. (I quit before I ever started selling, they're too sleazy) Those definately were not legit Kirby sales people. Sounds like the gypsy scammers.

yeah good point. Totally missed that. Well no cheez it stomping here. Simon would love seeing all those crackers within his nose reach though :)

Yep my friend Todd & I were just talking tonight about this. He's going to help set me up with some shotgunnery. Can't wait.

These folks really needed to be shot with a water hose, everything including the Ford Van was dirty. Far from professional for sure.

Yes was not liking it one bit & am glad they went away without incident too friendly & pushy plus out numbered me. I don't feel this way very often nor call the police on a whim. Didn't trust her at all.

No Direct TV my house area is too woodsy no line of sight! I just get the hokey Kirby gypsies. Thanks for responding. :)

Right on and it would not be a $2499 vaccuum

I like that, straight to the point, no nonense not interested. NO. I need to remember that is a complete answer. No explaination needed.

LOL would have loved to see the look on that guy's face when you said Mr. Glock 40. The Mr. makes it
    Me needs a Mr. Shotgun!

Very Sleezy and scammers...hopefully will find the slammer!

Thanks again to everyone who responded. Glad they have not come back!

Aren't the winnie dogs the very best judge of character, (I have two) and seem to bark at the correct time, (mail man excluded). I can tell by there tones if it's something to be concerned about. BTW, I have a Kirby, and it's a very nice unit..

Concealed and open carry are legal in VT with out a permit. Just strap a piece to your hip and they won't bother you.

We have 2 "NO SOLICITING" signs on our office door and the solicitors ignore them and come in anyway.

I park my Patrol car behind my home ,and last year I arrested a door to door traveling meat salesman for DUI , and when the vaccuum salesman come to my door -I ask to see their buisness license through my town (that their required to purchase) and when they can't show me one , I introduce myself and issue them citations for selling without a buisness license ,and dare them to come back on my property.:D

Just tuck a gun in your waistband, and after you open the door, do a nice stretch- exposing the gun, and ask the person "the fuck you want?".

They will leave. And the best part is that you havent broken any laws (that I know of)

Our last encounter with the van of vaccuum salesmen , only 1 person out of the 5 didn't have a warrant and criminal history!

    Great suggestion! thank you :)

Too Funny both songs...There is a road at one of our training sites named DILIGAFF added F for flying

Very true. Simon does not bark all the time. I can hike in the woods & meet other hikers/people & he doesn't usually bark. Twice though, once with a group of kids & a guy on a bike he did. I paid attention. I am usually very careful & only go to popular populated dog hiking trails when by myself but you never know. Mr. Pepper Spray was locked & loaded. It is terrible to be this way but it is unfortunately the way it is. I always think of Ted Bundy & that fake cast!
Good to know about the Kirby too:thumbsup:

Yes I am working on this as I type. Thank you!

Yeah the police mentioned that, having to have a special permit to sell door to door. I had not been aware of that. They were not registered with my town so that is why they were going to find them.

The look on the faces when you gave the citations must have been priceless.

I like that I got to get more on board with this because I have another year at my house (the airport is buying mine too).
I can be subtle and the stretch ;)

My dad, who lives in VT, just got a concealed carry permit for Florida. It is recognized in something like 35 states! Pretty good deal I think.
