Is there anyway to program my 2008 to unlock both doors with one push of the remote? I tried the programming for the 2005 thru 2007's and it does not seem to work on my 2008!!

I think that's with the OEM alarm.

    Not just the keyless entry....

Why can't ya just hit the key a second time?

:D I always forget to do it twice and my husband always glares at me from the passenger side window when he tries to open the door. Ooops sorry...

I don't think the keyless entry (only) has programming abilities. Atleast, not that I've seen yet.

Oops. Well, @Yota_dvl those instructions from that post may work for you since yours is before 2005.

Otherwise, I found some info on the net that says a) the dealer you bought your truck from might do this for you for free, b) you might be able to do this on the "customization" screen with a "scantool" (also at your dealer), or c) this is impossible on a 2005+ Tacoma (see http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/showthread.php?t=144177)

I would absolutely like to know this. I'm not too lazy to press it twice but I usually press it once then realize I need to press it again to let the wife in. In our Jeep, it's programmable.

All together, that's 6 beeps. Kinda annoying.

I just want a way to have the doors automatically lock when I put the truck into Drive...

I drive through some sketchy areas, and sometime I forget to lock the doors...

One time my wife was stopped at a light in her SUV and some dude tried to open the tailgate, it was locked, ran to the side door and tried that, but she floored it and took off...

    nice feature to have...

I would like this feature too. My 04 Solara did it and my 94 Chevy Cavalier did it too.
