DoorDash Confidential with Charlie (another PennSilverTaco thread)!

That silver Mitsubishi got here after I arrived; I thought the restaurant was closed because the parking lot was empty...

 

An employee told me they are so understaffed that they can't open the dining room...

 

The first of many Uber Eats orders that I got this past Saturday, but keep forgetting to post; I still don't get why people in Philly order from restaurants in the suburbs...

I believe this doormat was at the apartment the IHOP order went to...

 

Just so we are clear, that is two orders, from two different restaurants, going to two different customers in Philly...

 

This is Uber and DoorDash both function. They know that the driver is likely going to be driving when the order comes in, and hope that they won't pay attention. Just like above, we have two orders going to two different customers for peanuts...

 

This is far from being one of the worst orders I've gotten, but I still didn't feel like taking it...

 

I'm seriously gonna drive all the way down to Norristown for barely over 60 cents a mile?!?!

Also, note my location at the time the order came in; I was already halfway between the restaurant and the customer!

 

Same order, six minutes later, for less than a dollar extra; I guess other Uber drivers feel the same way I do...

 

The majority of these orders don't take into account the time (and gas) spent driving to the restaurant before picking up the order...

 

Not a bad drive at all, but once again I was already halfway between the pickup location and the customer, and the customer didn't know how to tip...

 

This was another order that seemed to be a good deal, until I looked at how many miles I would have to drive...

 

Yet another order that didn't take into account the time spent driving to the restaurant...

 

Both DoorDash and Uber Eats need to put a limit of about 5 miles (maybe 6, or 8 at the most) on how far away customers are allowed to order from their location...

 

Two orders for barely above my minimum acceptance for one order...

 

At almost quarter after eight, I didn't feel like driving all the way up to Quakertown...

 

Cool sleds (and a toboggan) at one of the house I delivered to on Saturday; I also believe that "chair" is part of an infant potty for toilet-training...

 

Your right some of these orders don't pay much. Seems like if u can get 3 an hr , so would that be $15 an hr?
