Bethlehem during Saturday night's DoorDash blitz...

 

Any particular food establishments you won’t go to?

Or just customers?

I mean, what do you do if the order isn’t ready for pick up. Which then makes you late getting it to the customer.

 

Right now, only fast food places after about 10pm...

I saw this 1980s Jeep CJ-7 in Bethlehem whole DoorDashing there today...

 

In the same parking spot, at the same KFC, the very next day!

 

I encountered this a lot while DoorDashing in the Bethlehem area over the weekend...

 

I encountered yet another customer last night, back home in Bucks County, who forgot to turn on the porch light. They did end up turning the lights on, but this is started to get annoying!

 

That would be annoying.
Maybe a good flashlight?

My dad has carried a flashlight for years.
I just haven’t felt like spending the money on a good one. Plus, I am a minimalist. I don’t like carrying a lot of stuff.

 

I've got "illegally wired" foglights that can be operated simultaneously with the high-beams, as seen here...

I am a bit annoyed with the antics of law enforcement lately; I went to Bethlehem again today because I get more orders up there than here in Central Bucks.

@Stitchgirl90 was with me; I picked up an order at this place called WingStop to pick up an order, and I left my truck idling in the fire zone with the hazards on and Amanda in the shotgun seat.

This lady with a shopping cart, who we suspect was homeless, was hanging out in front of the wing place. She complimented me on my Christmas lights (I only had the wreath and bullbar lights on so as not to attract police, which really didn't work too good).

I was in the wing place for probably less than five minutes; I came out with the order, and there was a marked Ford Explorer parked partially behind my truck with its red and blue lights on. The lights were not flashing, just steady on, but I thought I was getting a ticket. The homeless lady with the shopping cart was gone.

I handed Amanda the order through the window and walked to the driver side. At this point the cop pulled forward and his passenger window started to go down.

He rather gruffly told me that it was a "bus and fire zone" and thatI couldn't park there; I said something along the lines of "I'm sorry, officer" and explained that I was picking up a DoorDash order. This seemed to satisfy him and he drove off.

Amanda told me that the woman with shopping cart had run off as soon as the cop had shown up, and that he had initially scared the shit out of her by honking his horn. My theory is that the cop didn't realize there was nobody in the driver's seat, as he showed up less than a minute before I walked out of WingStop.

The moral of the story here is to just park out in the parking lot from now on; I'm also really glad that I didn't have all the lights on because I think the cop might have actually ticketed me for that or at least made my life difficult by running my license and checking the Taco's paperwork.
