Doors keep locking themselves, while driving or off

    I don't have the manuals with me right now, but I think that switch is for door lights only. Also, I think the signal from the ECU to the door lock assembly is a PWM signal.

    Well, could be - and I do not that the schematics to review .... But, If the Auto manufactures can do it with only one switch cost, they would not put in two ...

    The switch you reference, only cares if the door is open or closed to operate courtesy lights.
    The switch I reference cares about whether it's locked or unlocked; doors can be open or closed.

    AH OK ! But, when you push on the door the door ajar switch will most like be affected first.
