I'm needing some help. I was driving a few days ago and while taking a somewhat sharp right turn it sounded like all my doors unlocked. At that time I just assumed I never locked them and the noise was my signal clicking back to center and it was during the day so I didnt see my dome light turn on but today on my commute to work I took another sharp right turn not going super fast but I was in a little bit of a hurry and I heard the click of the doors unlocking and I knew they did flip because my dome light turned on as well. Anybody got any ideas on what this could be. Thank you.

Anybody got a guess. I've read a few other forums and some say it could be the switch is not making good enough contact when I turn but that's about it.

That's an interesting problem, I would almost suspect a wire rubbing out on something or a switch that's getting flakey.
Do you have an aftermarket alarm or security system?

Is your key fob in your left pocket when driving? Sharp right turn making you press the button in your pocket?

I dont think I have an aftermarket system. My fob is a Toyota one so I'm guessing not.

Are the door strikers bolted solidly against the cab? If they are loose, the door may not stay fully seated to keep the door check switch fully pushed in and cause the dome light to go on. The clicking may be caused by that switch performing some logic inside the ECU and unlocking or something.

I always have my fob on the same ring as my ignition key so it shouldn't be that.

After work I'll check and see if they are tight. I was thinking of maybe trying it again and maybe putting something like a cabinet door button (like the ones to reduce the slamming noise) to see if that also could help keep it from separating.
