So I have an original side marker leaking. Best price I can find for OEM is $65. Aftermarket brands out there are DEPO, TYC, Eagle Eyes, Dorman. I haven't found a ton on this site or online but what I did find was DEPO = crap, TYC better but not as good as OEM, Eagle Eyes not so great. Dorman I haven't seen much mention other than Amazon where they do get good reviews and I can replace both for $50 vs. $130 for OEM. Anyone have any experience with the Dorman replacements? Thanks. (yes I searched here, I can't spend anymore time hunting)

I bought a set of TYC and the orange lens cracked within a year. My truck is kept in the garage so it wasn't getting blasted by the sun. Im thinking the fit was not the best and the added pressure on the lens finally cracked them.

If you’re worried about how they fit the Dorman fit just fine. Quality wise it’s not the heaviest duty but it gets the job done and I wouldn’t expect them to break unless I ran into something

Picked up some Dormans. I'd say about 75-80% quality of OEM. The chrome plating isn't as nice or durable. Some little dimples in places. One little spot has already come off after mounting. The seems are not as clean as OEM (glue etc.) Also, the fit wasn't as good as OEM. Where they meet the grill its not an even gap like before. Its now thicker at the top and slightly more narrow at the bottom. Will follow up with pics. Overall, they look better because all the materials are new...the chrome is more shiny, orange lens is a much deeper orange, and black trim inside is darker vs. the 18 year old originals. Also Dorman $50 for both vs. $130-140 for OEM. Good for the price. If I hadn't just put 2 grand into this thing I would have gotten OEM. I think if the leak in a couple years I'll get OEM. This is coming from someone that's pretty picky. So if your not, these will do just fine.
