Double add a leaf on one Dakar leaf pack ?

Guy I bought it from said when he built it, it was 500

 

Chiming in here late, but I took a different approach with Dakars and it has served me well with a fully loaded Drifter: I replaced the overload springs in Dakar medium packs with a progressive three-leaf AAL pack. My three-leaf AAL packs happened to be Deaver-made, but the Wheelers pack is the same thing.

In all, I spent $300 total on a used set of Dakars and some used progressive AALs. I get 2.5 inches of lift, a highly progressive leaf pack, and a noticeably smoother ride because I have no overload leafs.

For reference, my truck weighs 5960 lbs., and the rear axle supports 3080 lbs.

 

Thanks. not sure what I am going to do. build out still needs to happen and so far just left everything as is. Not wheeling hard though
