Planning on dyeing my carpet from gray to black.

First of all, is it easy taking off the carpet? I have went through some threads but many are 50/50. Plus, I am iffy, since one thread was talking about taking out the car seats will deploy airbag.

Removing the carpet is as easy as removing bolts and reinstalling the same bolts. Removing your seats will have absolutely no effect on the air bags on your 2006. In addition to working with air bags for over a decade I've had the seats out on my 2006 at least a half dozen times.

If taking the seats out deploys the air bags, you have bigger problems than needing to dye your carpet :D

Disconnect your battery before pulling any plugs under the seats you will be fine.

Also, why dye it? Sounds like a mess. You can buy a brand new black carpet for pretty cheap.
