I've tried to search but there are so many threads about racks....

I want to have two crossbars on my cab as far apart as possible. I'd like a simpler, cleaner look than the OEM roof rack.

What company makes feet that use the existing attachment points?

    Thanks.

Two that come to mind are, Yakima, and Thule.

The Yakima system, which uses landing pad #24 is probably exactly what you're after.

It would also depend on what you're intending to carry, as weight limits will be a factor.

Yakima Landing Pad (currently out of stock) is a great example of what I want. Thanks! Is that the only company that makes a direct mount foot? I checked the Thule site and didn't see one.

Hi Hawk1 I was in the same boat - everything is "Raptor" themed and quite pricy and just not what suits me. I am currently fabing up my own version which will allow the weatherstrip to tuck under the mount points a bit cleaner. Getting ready to add the bars front to rear and set it up to hold an existing basket that I have. Very sturdy so far. ARB makes a mount bracket that utilizes all 5 mounting points per side.

That too is on backorder. Regards Scott

Yeah stock is a huge issue right now, I suspect largely because they are the only one of the "big guys" that make a Tacoma specific mount. I was looking last week at Thule and Rhino Rack and I don't believe either makes a similar product that uses the factory mounting locations. Lots of options that mount to the roof using a clamp-type mount, but those tend to be far less appealing to most people (myself included).

Now that's a slick option. Looks like it uses a combination of factory holes and extra holes drilled - wonder if a guy could get away with using just the factory points.
