    wow, looks like I haven't been paying attention.... but Better late then never??? and BTW all these LBs are lookin feckin excellent!

    Thank you sir, I am very happy with it. approximately 2.5" lift, and the ride quality is soooo much better with Dakars in the rear its not funny. Those stock leafs ain't worth a f@#k!!! I have loaded up for camping, with the whole family, kayaks, coolers, campershell etc... and been totally smooth with mellow offroading. also loaded up with 1500 lbs of concrete, and (all separate trips) a yard of sand, yard of gravel, (whatever that weighs) and still not bottomed out on the rears. frickin rules. also the LR UCAs keep it nice and straight on the highway. can still do 90 and not feel sketchy at all.

    [british accent]Very impeccable taste sir; Very good, very good! Let's see pics! :D

    Most my pics are old, and don't reflect some recent mods such as BHLM and blacked emblems. Surprisingly the emblems really set off the reds!

    Here ya go, another DCLB.
    I just got done doing my lift about 2K miles ago.
    King's front/rear, TC UCA's, Dakar's with one overload removed. BFG 255's,
    I got 3.25" lift in the rear and 2.5" in front. Once I put my dirt bike on the back it sits nice and level, unloaded without gear it's got way less than the factory rake which was 1.875 F/R.
    The ride is great and I can't believe I waited 5 years before I did anything.
    My mileage went from 16.5 down to 14.75 after 5% correction for speedo error.

    Great looking trucks in here. I think DCLB's look the best lifted. I'm glad I went with the longbed.

    Nice set up. I like the camping set up...I had a frame in my old '91, but now I just have a 3" Paco Grande truck Pad (jacks plastic welding http://www.jpwinc.com/index.html) its super duper lux. usually use it in tent, but it is exactly toy bed width. perfect for late night setups, and rolls up in the AM. also self inflating,waterproof and can be floated on in flatwater sections on river trips :D just needs a sheet on top of the PVC cause its sticky.
    Thank goodness for a 6' bed. I am 5'7 and i can stretch out when sleeping...:cookiemonster:
    one more reason DCLB FTMFW.....:woot::thumbsup:

    They're BFG mud terrain km2's size 255/85-17. they weigh the same as my old 275's and I thought that would keep my gas milage up a bit but I still lost 2mpg due to the aggressive tread.. and they're kind of noisy.

    Right on man! I love Paco's pads! The set up you see in my truck now is actually memory foam that I had custom cut to fit exactly above the frame up to just under the rails and perfect width. I sleep just like at home:D. The frame for the bed rests in the factory recess in the bed and I can remove the whole setup canopy and all in 5 minutes. It's not nice like some of the ones you see on here but it's totally functional and works for me and the dog!

    thats awesome! I seem to be hauling too much work and domestic shite around to really set up a permanent roadtripping frame, but I would totally rock that easy in easy out tho. that = more time on the river or in the camp chair with a cerveza....:D
