They were custom made because no one offered a +6 bulge at the time the previous owner built it. Based off Fiberwerx I believe. Only pic I have right now let me know if you’re looking for something different. 4853E181-DF98-41AF-8B77-08C70D3424F6.jpg

Beautiful truck. I was guessing you are in So Cal because it's raining here but I see gas is $2.35 a gallon where you're at and that is definitely not So Cal. Lol

    Oh, but you can...

Every device I've seen law enforcement use to measure light transmission through glass has to slide over the window to work. If you want the windshield tinted:

-Find a good tint shop or individual that does quality work. You likely won't get a receipt, and will have to pay cash.
-Go with the lightest, but highest quality tint available. You won't get that "blacked out look" without making John Law quite suspicious, but you get the UV and heat blocking benefits.
-Be prepared to fork out cash each and every time you have a windshield replaced. Last time I had a windshield done it was $125. They aren't easy.
-Inspect the tint job to make sure there are absolutely no visible edges or imperfections that can be spotted upon inspection.

I live in Arizona, and I usually get at least 2 windshield replacements per year, so it gets pricey to keep them tinted. Once I get my lift on, we'll see how long my next windshield lasts, and if it's over a year I may get the windshield done again. Because of the angle of the windshield compared to the other windows, it allows in the most amount of heat in the summer, and does horrible things to your dash. This last summer I had a couple of visor-mount sunglass holders that literally melted to the point of being non-functional from the heat coming through my windshield. The thin plastic "for sale" signs you get at the hardware store become crumpled, distorted, and unreadable in a couple of days. It's miserable. Having even the lightest tint on the windshield helps, and is hard to get busted for, just make sure you get it done correctly.
