double cab rear door panel removal

    Hey can anybody help me out with removing my rear door panels? I've worked at them but there is something I'm missing. Thanks.

    Hi, I didn't want to create another thread, please help it seems that the lock handle (inside) is still attach by something after removing the screw. Rear door.

    Hey, when you undo the rear screw in the handle, you then slide it forward (towards the interior of the car) it is still clipped in sorta. Then it will pop out. Then you pull up the padding on the arm rest and there are the two screws in there. Then pull from the bottom corners to pop off the plastic clips.

    edit: you need to turn the door handle sideways after you get it popped out of place, for the door to come all the way off, and don't forget to undo the wire for the window.

    Here's the front and back sides of a rear door panel. Note the position of the screws for the armrest and all the retainers that pop out by pulling or carefully levering them straight off. The panel lifts up to remove it, with the window channel the last piece to disengage.

    Here's a rear door with the panel removed. Note the positions of the retainers and the speaker/power window-lock harnesses. The door release rod is visible, too.
