Double Cab Rear MOLLE Panel Storage Overhead

Anyone tried installing this? I just spent the last 3 hours trying to get the OEM handle clips to fit through the mounting brackets then handles. Just wouldn’t work no matter how hard I tried. Is there any solutions to this? My 2nd gen one just screwed in and didn’t have to use the clips.

 

Yeah I had to use 6mm jack nuts
Also the meso customs handle retention kit. You will have to unknot the holes a bit to make the jack nuts work. I can’t believe the clips in the 3rd gen really hold those handles also had me missing my 2nd gen

Awesome, I actually got it to work. Just made it “stick”‘and held it in while I placed the “caps” back on and it seems to lock it in. I’ll keep this in mind if it fails at some point. Thank you
