I am in the middle of building a single 10" sub box for a 07 Tacoma Double cab. Could you provide me some dimensions of your box? It would be a great help in finishing this box. Thanks a lot.

Hey Lifesaflaw.... just wondering if you even finished this design and built the box? If so, I'd be interested in the specs. Thanks!

I have just finished making a box almost exactly like this one. If anyone is interested I can take some measurements and post them.

Here are the dimensions of the end of the box I built (the width would of course depend on the volume you are building for).

Thanks Dave for posting the dimension. Question on 2nd pic, why there's cut off in the middle of the sub chamber?

Cutoff in the enclosure is to accommodate use of the child seat anchor. I didn't want to take those out so I built around them.

Thanks for posting the dimensions! Based on what you have, how much clearance do you have from the box to the back of your seat (for speaker excursion)? Also, what sort of mounting depth do you have (I know...being lazy and not doing the math).

    You're welcome.

Not yet sure what I will have for space at the back of the seat since I haven't put the box in yet. Might have to take off the plastic on the back of the seat (better sound anyways?). In hindsight I would have built the box a little less deep and given myself more space since it was not difficult achieving the box volume I needed (.65 cubic feet plus the displacement of the driver).

I have a 10" sub going in the box and at the center of the driver the depth is 5 1/4" to the back wall. But, based on the diameter of the magnet on the sub the mounting depth that you could use would be less. A 12" sub would fit in this design but it would probably be difficult to have enough box volume.
