Double check a bolt for me, please.

Hello,

I would like to double check that this bolt

is the correct bolt (19mm head) connecting the steering knuckle to the lower ball joint. There are two of them. Here is an image.


If so, what is the size? I would like to pick up a few from Autozone or NAPA. Thank you in advance.

i dont have them in front of me. (i work 80 miles from my truck) but they arent fine threaded from what i remember...like at all

 

If they have a 19mm head, they are not called 19mm bolts. They need to be really strong bolts. Not something you're likely to find at an auto parts store. Probably need to go to the dealer or Fastenal.

 

M16x1.5 possibly. Length unknown.

 

Ya, no way I'm trusting hardware store hardware for that job. To hold the abs clip, that's another story.

 

Yes I stated in the OP that the bolt head was 19mm.
