    Hello Tacoma World! Been lurking for a bit here, but finally took delivery last Friday of the 2020 Tacoma TRD Pro 6MT I ordered.

    I've driven a 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX for over a decade now. I love the car to pieces, but it's going to pieces. It's got 185k miles and it's really starting to show it. I picked up the hobbies of backpacking and skiing a few years ago, and a lowered WRX doesn't really cut it anymore, especially when going to trail heads.

    I opted for a Pro because I don't plan to do much to the truck, at least for now. I've got a Snugtop Rebel going on in a few days so I can build a sleeping platform in the back, and I've got BAMF sliders on order, pending March sometime. Snow tires are going on the OEM wheels, and I'll buy buying new wheels and meatier tires sometime in spring

    I had the full front end wrapped in Suntek clear vinyl, and I threw a bunch of MESO and AJT chrome delete bits and bobs on, but that will likely round it out for now. Maybe an SSO slimline bumper in the far off future if I really get into off roading.

    Great little community you folks have here, and some really great resources. Also some humongous morons. But hey, internet car forums, right?

    I'm definitely going to miss the WRX when it's gone. We've been through a lot, but the mileage is getting too high and I don't want a project car right now. I've bought her once over in repairs in the last three years.

    I'll pick up a RWD coupe like a Miata or a BRZ in the next few years for the "track" car. For now, I'm going to focus on learning how to off-road!

    Congrats on your truck! As one of the few who also run snow tires, I can tell you that I have had awesome luck with the Bridgestone Blizzak 265/75/16 on stock OR wheels. This is my first stud-less winter set and I'm sold. Cheers!

    Yep, I've got Blizzaks on order. I ski 25-35 days a season, so it's an easy decision. Sticking stock size though, in case I need to put chains on if it gets really, really icy.
