New rear shocks showed up, rancho RS-9000 adjustable and rebuildable units.
They are speced for a 2005 dodge ram 2500 4x4 and match my measurements within a 1/4 inch.

I'm interested to see how these work out for you. The Fabtech shocks that are made for this lift kit are too short.

The current rear shocks in my truck are the front shocks off a 73 blazer according to the part number

Okay shocks installed, you have to push out the steel eyelet sleeves and then drill out the polyurethane bushings to the size of the shock mount. They work awesome.

They ride pretty firm so only put these on working trucks not the overlanding mallcrawlers that populate this forum

Got lucky here the clutch had just started to contact the rivets and there isn’t a groove in the flywheel. IMG_1289.jpg IMG_1291.jpg IMG_1292.jpg
Surprisingly it had an Aisin clutch in it.
The throw out bearing was growling pretty bad.

How should I go about cleaning up the friction surface of the flywheel here in my shop?
    What sandpaper should I use?

Does anyone know where I can get the lower front strut bushings as mine are falling apart.

Decided to clean up my flywheel with an old whetstone as it is better than not doing anything to it at all.

This job is such a pain is the dick that once this motor needs replaced then I am just gonna put an ALH 1.9 TDI into the truck.

Whoever designed the firewall and bell housing area with the crossover pipe in the way of the bell housing bolts, there is a special place in hell for you.

Another question, how long does a gates timing belt for these trucks last so I can make a service sticker for it as I reused the one off the old engine as it had 20k on it
