    Exhaust out of the hood makes me think it's a demolition derby car. This is most certainly NOT.

    ya the wastegates are one thing because they arent open until full boost. the exhaust would be slightly annoying

    also ive posted in @Torspd build thread. im making a adpater bracket for the factory booster to a better master cylinder. a wilwood. once completed ill workup a price and get it contact with tw to become a vendor.

    How much clearance will there be between the wastegates and the hood? Looking great btw. Seems like yesterday it was a frame on the ground. Looking forward to seeing it all put together.

    there is actually alot. the gates are closeish to the grill and head lights. i will have to put heat shielding on the side of the headlights.

    Personally I'd go black. It's clean and it will give the purple a huge contrast to pop with.

    I kinda agree^^ but LOVE the truck. I personally would go for subtle contrast and let the engine do the bragging, not the flashy gold. Either way, still in for the end result and looking forward to the progression.

    I'd go with metallic gold, but the old school course-metallic flakes they used to use back in the 70s on boats:
