Ive been thinking about getting the Y pipe but then I'm worried about deleteing ALL my cats! Plus the noise would be to loud IMO.... Maybe if I get money for a turbo muffler and 1 high flow cat. I also heard that since you lose back pressure that you lose low end torque. So besides the sound, how was the performance?

Its still feels great, . Next Mod is URD MAF Calibrator. And I will hopefully Dyno tune it. Then I can post HP @ the wheel for my set up... But remember I still have front cats welded to my shorty headers.

I heard that the pipe bomb eliminates the raspy sound. Anyone heard of this?

If your getting the short header, it has to be welded it on, the cat still remain. Jardine cat back is a straight bolt on, shouldnt take more than 15 min to put on.

In my opinion i think there worth it. i have them on for about 2 months now. decent power gains. Its mostly raspy in the morning. With my jardine exhaust the raspy sound went away.

Im still debating if i want to buy a y-pipe. I think it might be too loud with the y-pipe.

about the y-pipe and doug thorley long tubes, just a heads up...i recently had em installed and they leak....i thought the same thing about it being a bit raspy...i double checked and sure enough the connection between the header flange and the y-pipe was leaking....i had it re-done w/ new gaskets and again the same deal. come to find out that urd supplies stock gaskets which are slightly thinner than the ones doug thorley recommends. i'll have the new one's on the way...i'll pass an update when i get em in....

yeah sure, will do....i just thought it was bs that they dont even include the gaskets with the system....and on top of that the ones they offer are wrong. i wrote a review on the urd site, but they took it off :frusty:

How do you like your JBA's? Did you feel much performance from them, and how was the install? Im thinking of getting some? I know its a little different for the 3.4L.
