    When you say the bottom bolt, 50ft, is that the ball socket bolts?
    If not what should the ball socket bolts be at?
    I had the drivers side crack and replacing the two headers under warranty and I forgot the torque.
    I forgot what a pain and time consuming project this is and knuckle buster.

    This is disconcerting. Do you have any pics of the crack? How many miles are on the headers?

    It's the EGR connector, most don't have it.
    Got it all installed and torque the exhaust ball joints at 35 pounds.
    No leaks
    Warranty covered it.
    Probably around 80k on them

    That sucks. Yeah, I don't have one of those. '96 & '97 only for Tacomas. Broke at the welds eh? Probably from vibrations. Might need more support.

    What torque amount did you torque the down pipe ball area,
    I have a high idle now an hour after driving it.
    I don’t want to strip out one of the nuts

    I torqued his last time, did em good n tight with a short handle ratchet, nothing extreme.

    I'm not sure that Zane was actually the last time those bolts have been checked. But Gootentight is the spec. The last time I checked, they had not loosened up, but it had been the 3rd or 4th time that was been applied.

    It is a pretty hefty bolt so I don't think you are going to twist it off.

    TRD S/C, ADS coilovers.
    On the driver side I had issues with getting them sealed up completely. I tightened them down as much as I possibly could to prevent the leaks. Had shit alignment before and after sending them off to DT.

    I had them pretty damn tight on mine after several attempts to get the drivers side to seal. I've wondered about expanding the male end of the flange a little and seeing if that would be enough to make it seal. I also thought the flange bolt threads ended about 1/4 inch too soon. I should take another look at them since they are just sitting on the parts shelf after going turbo

    So I went ahead and raised the torque from 30LBS to 40LBS on the lower ball joint exhaust sections on both sides and that was what was needed.
    All joints are sealed and good to go,
