FYI.. I found this out the hard way.. the O2 sensors go on the rear sensors. They wont fit on the front ones.

The truck is LOUD!! it sounds mean and pulls hard tho :D

I wish I had my headers, O2 sim, or gaskets.. Still waiting after 2 months but hey, at least URD was quick to charge my card!

Have you tried calling them? I spoke to gadget early last week and had headers in my hands in less than a week? Found them to be great overall

I have seen no need to call them, Gadget answers my emails. But my question is, why would you have a GB here when you don't have the items to support it? My card was charged within a few hours of ordering the headers and people who have ordered them after me have received them. It wouldn't bother me if I hadn't paid for them two months ago. I'll have to wait for them because I also purchased the matching Y pipe (which I have received but it was mailed to the wrong address). I'm sure Gadget is a great guy and very polite through emails and almost everyone here and other forums defend him. I'm just saying, my experience with URD has not been very good.

    Too many to list..
I found myself asking the same question..

But I can say that everything came out great for me. I got all my pieces and everything turned out great. Truck has some balls now!

Sucks that it happened to you.. I can say out of all the GB's I have been in. This is the only GB that took some time (Supplier/Manufacturer).

Hope it all works out for you!

I got my headers last week and i am going through the install manual and I am a bit confused.

    1. Where do the screws shown in the picture below go to?
    2. What are the factory torque specs for the nuts on the exhaust manifold and for the exhaust pipe?

when u pull the old manifolds off, u have 2 o2 sensors. now, on your headers, u have 4 holes to put 2 o2 sensors into. to fill the other 2 holes, u need those screws

What size allen wrench does it take? The largest one I have does not fit.

I am also assuming the O2 sensor will go into the hole on the center tube, closest to the manifold and not at the end of the header. Is that correct?

How about the O2 sim, which sensors does it tap into?

i am not sure what it is. maybe 6mm?

yes, unless u bought the extension harnesses too. this is what i did, but most people put the o2 sensors into the "stock" location which is in the center tube

you use the o2 sim on the sensors that are in the y-pipe that are right infront of the second set of cats.

Well I received my headers, sim and gaskets yesterday. They lasted about 4 hours sealed in the box, I had to put everything on last night. With the Headers and DT Y pipe there are good power gains but an annoying sound from the resonator at about 2500 RPM. Idle and once RPMs are pushed beyond 3k the sound goes away. I wanted to stay with the stock exhaust (Y pipe back) but I am wondering if there isn't too much back pressure causing this sound/noise? Is anyone else having or had this problem? The exhaust doesn't have any noticeable extra noise but power gains are sure felt at the peddle. Any suggestions?

Question for those of you that have completed the long tube install and o2 sensors.. have any of you seen the check engine light come back on? Also, what are you planing to do when you have to pass emissions.. some folks have talked about swaping back to stock during that time. Seems like a lot of work based on everyones feedback to install.

My check engine light came back on indicating a problem on bank 2 sensor 1. Apparently this is pretty common when swapping headers occasionally you will damage one taking it off / putting it back in. I replaced the sensor and havent had any trouble since. When it comes to emissions I'm not exactly sure what I'm gonna do. If your state has emissions where they use a sniffer (in the tailpipe) you may still barely pass as you do still have some cats. If your state just uses odb2 then you'll pass with flying colors so long as you have the simulators in (not legal btw) and if they decide to take a peak you may get into some trouble.

I literally just went through emissions so dont have to worry about it for 2 years. It sounds like a problem for future me :p

Well, after having the wife rev the engine and me crawling under the truck, I realized that the sound isn't coming from the Y pipe but the muffler. I replaced the DT Y pipe with the stock one and the sound is nearly gone. I'm guessing with the free flowing header and Y pipe there is just too much back pressure with the stock muffler. Guess I will have to get an after market muffler and piping as well. ;)
