Doug Thorley V6 Down Tubes and Performance Y-Pipe

Being that the 3rd Gen 3.5 engine has a unique exhaust manifold, has anyone installed either one of these on their trucks. It's not street legal so I would think not too many takers on these because it replaces the integrated catalytic converter on the manifold. Appreciate any comments either way. God Bless

 

i only ended up putting on the urd mk2 ypipe with the 2020 trd exhaust and did notice the truck has more vigor during acceleration all through the powerband. i thought about putting headers and then realized we didnt really have any so i backed off that idea. plus, i dunno how it would be with all 4 cats gone lol. gotta wait in the shadows till someone else does it so i can see . urd does sell extractor pipes which is what i wouldve gone with.

 

when I ran header back exhaust on my RSX 2 cats, to fool the computer and not throw a CEL I just backed the O2 Sensor out with a bung. The car would still pass smog. with 4 cats I would Assume we have a few O2 sensor's try it and let us know
