    guys, with 97k on this truck, its not stupid to go for the trd pro kit right? Looking for a little reassurance. I'll have to pay for install as well and probably also get newer smaller tires. Unless I can fit my current 33" ko2's on SCS F5's (regular (zero?) offset, not the crazy offset version they have) and also I have a CMC and trimming.

    Its only stupid if you don't like the outcome when its all said and done. Thats all that matters. That being said, I still wouldn't recommend swapping any other parts until you address the roots of your problems; seemingly your UCAs/alignment issues/C load tires/preload.

    Think of it this way. Taxes and fees on a truck purchased for trade in will probably equate to the price and install of going back to stock. Offset by the cost of selling your lift parts.

    You're going to want to go back to stock wheels too - agree with everyone else: get rid of the C load range tires...those are a big contributor.

    Maybe go back to stock wheels first? Might look a little funny but might give you a better comparison to what your suspension rides like without having LT tires under it.

    Well I think those high caster JBAs just need to go. Plus, from what I’m reading the pro suspension will feel better

    Thanks guys, and yeah I’m looking at it as going to new, trd pro suspension where it’s close to stock. And whatever costs I have, it would be the same if not less than trading it in for something new. Also, I could easily put another 100k on it if I take care of it, right?

    C load are actually lighter than E’s. Unless I’m missing something?

    You have good shocks so I would think just removing some or most of the lift would be better than putting OEM parts back on. And free unless you have to pay for labor. The rear leafs might be stiffer, but I think you can remove one of the overload or something on those to soften them up. Again, probably better than the stock leafs. Your tires are probably a big part of the equation. Just get some P rated tires and don't over inflate and I bet you'll notice a better ride.

    I'm saying go from C load to standard passenger tires (Non-LT). Stock tires for a TRD OR are P(assenger)265/70/16s.

    This is true, but I found a good deal on the new trd pro suspension including leafs so I might just do that

    Oh ok, gotcha. Honestly I might just do one tire size up from stock. I have a cmc and trimming so I’m thinking that will still work with the trd pro setup

    But mileage wise, I still have a ways to go on this yota I assume? Wonder how much miles y’all are at or have gotten to. All I’ve done is brakes, rotors and oil changes at 97k

    I pretty much got your exact same setup but with SPC UCAs and 650lb springs (for steel bumpers) and it rides great!

    Sounds like you just need needs to find a better shop
