    Just bought an 06 with 168k doing the Yota synthetic gear oil thx for this thread on torque specs …

    Good thing I found this post. Was having the same issue about which where the right plugs (drain and fill).

    My Tacoma has 220k and I've never done a trans and diff oil change. It used to be my dad's and I don't know when he did it last or if he ever did. I inherited his truck at around 125k. I'm doing that this weekend so wish me luck.

    I'm putting a couple of Lucas synthetic gear oil 75W-90. Anyone have used this before? I decided this one over Redline mainly cuz of price. I heard amazing things from Redline but Lucas is also a top quality brand so I don't think there is a big difference between them.
