Drained transmission fluid by accident

I don't have a Tacoma but am thinking about test driving one. Ease of maintenance is a factor for me and I'm not mechanically inclined as well.

Is it easy to get the transmission fluid and oil drain plug bolts confused? Are they right next to each other or something?

 

i mean, its easy to confuse but also easy to avoid. the oil plug is closer to the front, under the engine.

 

Keep in mind, copious amounts of alcohol was involved when he made this mistake. You should be alright. Changing the oil filter can get a little messy, but draining it isn't too hard.
