1986 Tacoma with 85K. Wanting to perform a transmission service, but doing it myself does not catch the torque converter.

    Is there a transmission filter?
I know the oil needs to be OEM.
Just pulling the trans plug drains less than 2 qts. Not sure if this is considered a service.

Do I need to go to the dealer to get the complete service?

    Thanks
