Dreaded coolant leak

    I work at a different brand dealership and a little shocked Toyota didn't step up and take care of this for you. 1st you are a loyal customer that goes to dealership for service. 2nd you don't have really high mileage. 3rd you bought their extended warranty.
    I have seen the company I work for step up for the customer even out of warranty but still close by 10,000 miles and they cover it at the manufacturer.
    Now that being said I purchased a new Tacoma 3 weeks ago and hope I made the right choice.

    Yeah trust me, I was a little shocked as well. Interesting to hear the perspective of another manufacturer. I thought Toyota would have seen the leak and taken care of it, no problem, especially for the reasons you stated above. But I guess they’re in the business of making money, not losing it, no matter what. Definitely put a sour taste in my mouth regarding Toyota. Like I said earlier, I could have fought it harder, but I just want it dealt with and to move on with my life.
