    Just happened to me 2012 38,000 miles quoted 2,000 told not covered. Asked for a goodwill assistance how long does that take. Almost got killed with wife and son in car. Car towed to dealer I am paying rent for a car since Sat 40 a day and climbing. Code p2442. Any suggestions this is really disappointing to me on the inconsistent way people are being treated.

    That sucks OP. I did some quick googling and it seems like every single person affected with this has a 2012 Tacoma, I saw no other years mentioned in any of the threads I was reading. Odd.
