Dream truck (manual, low mile 4x4) versus reality

    Manuals don’t hunt for gears unless the operator does.

    I spent 3 years looking for my MT Tacoma. They are a tough find indeed. If you go auto at least make it worthwhile and get the long bed.

    The thing is, there are so many good AT truck choices. And soon to be some good hybrid and EV options too. But for MT there isn’t a single viable option other than Tacoma. Though I have to admit I never remotely considered the Frontier.

    Obviously, but if you read my comment I said Tacoma automatics don’t hunt for gears like other vehicles do

    Buy the auto,the manuals are not what they used to be like in the older Toyota trucks.

    Still doesn’t explain how AT > MT for towing.
