I've seen some black 17" Sport Rims around the site. They look great!

I actually thought about doing this to give the stock sport rims a split spoke look just to change it up without spending to much. Gonna try to get some 1" x 5" black vinyl decals somewhere. Can't bring myself to paint them. Too permanent. The pics below were just a mock up with electrical tape.

If you were to paint what you taped off to match your truck it would look really clean.

You mean paint the taped black areas blue instead of black? Maybe, but I think I will personally like the black better. Gonna try with blue painters tape tomorrow to get an idea.

It's been done similar to that before, though I can;t seem to find the thread in my sub's. Turned out pretty good though

I'd like to see it if you can find it. I searched a bunch but didn't come up with much other than stockers painted all black.

Doesn't that stuff peel off pretty easily? Good for removability but no so much for staying on through new england winters. Couldn't hurt to try it I guess. If it doesn't work out, I can just peel it off.
