Damn, Andrew.. It never stops! Those axles look like they have some serious beef to them. Definitly a neccecity when running that locker up front.

As for the URD shifter, I've been contemplating throwing one on the truck for a while now, but haven't got around to it. Would you say it was truly worth the time and money in the end? I might just have to make that next on the list. My shifts have been really funky after changing to synthetic, and I cant take it too much longer. I was thinking the short throw shifter could possibly help, but if it doesn't, it looks like im going back to the good old dino oil for the trans.

What is the deal with those fancy CVs? Who makes them and how are they any stronger than stock? I saw a few posts back that they allow more angle but are the materials any different?

I have heard of RCV before. These look pretty cool. I haven't had any issues with my extended axles but if do I will look into these RCV axles. As it stands now I would have to buy another extended axle and then swap over all components to the extended axle if I break an axle shaft or if I break the CV itself then I have to find a stock donor CV axle and then steal the CV off it.

I'm sure that it is very possible to brak the R&P, but your wheeling style is a very tatical & I don't think he will have any issues. Also You have an after market R&P right? Isn't it stronger than the stock one.
