i want to drill a small hole through my front side wall bed (between the cab and the truck bed) to run a #4 awg wire from my car battery to my charge controller. Can you see a problem of doing it? At first i wanted to go through the cubby on the driver side but my cable will be to short. Is it better if i drill it under the bed instead? i will use a grommets and silicone caulking to seal it.
    thanks for helping

Some do no drilling and put the wire through the bed crack between the left bedrail and the front bed rail.
